THE K-BEAUTY BRAND WHICH IS SET TO BE HUGE IN 2018My journey with Touch in Sol began when I discovered them on Instagram.I loved the vibe but had not managed to get my hands on any of the products.Skip forward to my trip to New York, where I swatched the ‘No Poreblem Primer'. I was so blown away by how it smoothed my skin but didn’t feel like a layer of plastic was put on my skin (how I feel with a lot of pore hiding primers). I have used it in pretty much every makeup look since and it was dubbed as my ‘best primer ever’.When I got home, and I discovered that they now have a distributor in the UK, it was safe to safe I was excited to try some of their other products.Touch in Sol is a Korean Brand, and as you will know K- Beauty is famous for their revolutionary skin care and innovative packaging.So when Touch in Sol sent me some of their skincare line, I had big expectations.The CC CreamIt’s safe to say their skincare line did not only meet my expectations, but it exceeded them. I will be honest, I have never been a huge fan of CC creams, they usually never suit my skin tone and go all patchy.But the Touch in Sol CC cream blew my mind. The packaging was matt pink, so naturally, it suited my aesthetic down to the ground. But the actual product was what shook me. The product goes from a white, fine, grainy texture, to a smooth, silky cream that matches your skin tone. There was no patchiness. It looked like my skin, but with a filter.My experience with CC creams in the past felt like a waste of time. I mean, I know they are not expected to be 100% full coverage, but in the past, I felt that CC creams did not even add any coverage at all. The Touch in Sol CC cream, however, seemed to just blur my facial scars and hide pigmentation.But the best thing is about this cream is that it can do it’s magic, in seconds and without any brushes. Another win.This is perfect for…Those Sundays where you just want to feel like you have done something but don’t actually want to put in too much effort to get the result. Bye, bye, extremely dark under eyes.GET IT HERE.Mission Complete Waterproof Sensitive Lip & Eye Perfect CleanserI cannot stress the importance of a pre-cleanse. A pre-cleanse is the removal of the makeup before cleaning your face. When I forget my pre-cleanse and go straight into washing my face with my liquid cleanser, I break out so bad. So needless to say, it's a big deal. I have tried many pre-cleansing methods and many products. What I love about this Touch in Sol pre-cleanser is that it goes on like a gel and then turns into a watery substance. Which is so refreshing. My favourite way to use this product is to apply all over my face, with my hands. I then wipe with a cloth. Alternatively, you can use cotton pads, but for me, my method is the most efficient and the most effective.Perfect for…The nights where taking off your makeup feels like a mammoth task.GET IT HERE.Don't Tell Anybody Dual ConcealerIdeal for when you are on the go. This concealer has a stick option and a liquid option. I like that you can have both as I prefer a liquid under my eyes but a stick/creamy concealer for things like covering blemishes or carving out brows. My primary requirements when looking for a concealer is how well it blends. Both sides blended so well, especially the stick side as a base for eyeshadow.Perfect for…When you have limited space, but let’s face it, concealer is always an essential.GET IT HERE.Beauty aid creamAlthough I switch up my products all the time, I like to have a go-to moisturiser. The requirements are:Can be used for day and night.No overpowering smell ( I like scented things but not to sleep in).Sinks in- doesn’t leave a tacky or slimy finish.Feels intensely moisturising but not heavy.I got all of this and more with the Beauty Aid cream. It really is a multi-tasker. And another bonus is the packaging. No product inside the packaging will go to waste as the product is in a toothpaste kind of packaging. I like that.Perfect for..As this cream is a multi-purpose, all in one cream its ideal for any time of the day.GET IT HERE.Feel Like Honey Moon Skin BaseI saved this product for last as it is probably my favourite out of the whole range. This or the CC cream. It is a hard one.The Honey Glow Essential Base is a primer. I was intrigued and wondered how it would compare to my favourite primer. So how did it compare? Well, it didn’t. It does an entirely different job.The product itself is fairly weighty and had a pretty gold lid. It may sound silly, but I wasn’t expecting the texture to replicate that of honey- but it did!Open the lid, and the applicator is like a spatula. I applied the product and for a second worried that if it looked like honey in the pot, would it leave my skin feeling sticky? It didn’t, it sank in very quickly, and the consistency felt a lot like water. Which I liked. My skin once rubbed in felt hydrated, but with a matt finish. It felt like I gave my skin a drink of water. I especially love this for the Winter time.Perfect for...Hydration for those cold and crisp Winter days.GET IT HERE.So to summarise my whole experience with the Touch in Sol skincare.I love how many of the products change how they first appear. I am referencing the CC cream and the Honey Glow Base especially here.The packaging is fun and actually quite practical. Hello, built-in spatula and toothpaste like cream.The price, I think is fairly reasonable. I would say that it is mid-range priced. It is not high-street by any means, but I think you get a lot of product for your buck.
